Without soils, there is no life! Soils are a source of food and habitat, a finite resource and an object of speculation - and indispensable for our nutrition. In growing food, humans have resorted to tools and tamed animals for thousands of years. These animals might have looked like the imposing Heck cattle bull that towers over the collection as a life-size specimen.
